Mr. Zannelli serves as chairman at ZANN COMMERCIAL BROKERAGE, Inc. with a specialty in client representation for office buildings, industrial, and retail centers throughout metropolitan Houston, including sale, lease, build to suit and joint venture transactions. Representation activities include brokerage work and consultation assignments for clients. He holds Real Estate Brokerage licenses in States of Texas and Massachusetts.
In his pursuits, he demonstrates a strong corporate background which translates into a keen understanding and appreciation of the corporate clients and institutional entities structure and needs as well as the private businessman and entrepreneur.
Previously, Mr. Zannelli spent several years as a Senior Real Estate Broker with one of Houston's prominent Real Estate Brokerage companies, The Horne Company, specializing in representing tenants in office leasing and joint venture transactions. Prior to this activity, he directed his own business consulting firm specializing in formulating marketing programs to export scientific instrumentation to all countries in the Far East. Mr. Zannelli spent 10 years with Corning and functioned as both a Sales and Marketing Manager, for the Science and Medical Products Divisions, Corporate Director of recruiting, and Labor Relations Negotiator.
An in depth study and extensive analysis of client needs and profiles, combined with intricate, comprehensive understanding of existing inventory, proposed inventory, "suspect" inventory, and the developers behind the project are the basis for the manner in which Mr. Zannelli conducts his brokerage and consultation activity. Confidentiality and protection of client interests are benchmark descriptors for his conduct in transactions.
R. P. Zannelli holds a Bachelor of Science in Pre-Law from St. Bonaventure University and has completed Masters of Business Administration studies at both Syracuse and George Washington Universities. His affiliations include membership with Houston Office Leasing Brokers Association. Activities in community affairs include Chamber of Commerce, Cancer Fund Raising, former Heart Fund Chairman, and former Campaign Manager for a United States Senator, as well as a current active member of Economic Development Foundations that prospect for corporate expansions and relocations.
Jason C. Kieschnick joined Zann Commercial Brokerage, Inc. in 2003. Since that time, Mr. Kieschnick has successfully represented a high number of sellers, buyers, landlords and tenants in all areas of commercial real estate. Those areas include the leasing, acquisition and disposition of land, office, retail and industrial properties.
Before joining Zann, Mr. Kieschnick obtained a broad and diverse base of work experience in the industries of insurance, property management, and construction management. Past job opportunities have enabled Jason to build a solid foundation for the development of strong negotiation skills, time management techniques, and analytical thinking.
Mr. Kieschnick has a long history in the Clear Lake area which has facilitated significant ties in the business and social communities. Given Mr. Kieschnick’s connection to the Clear Lake area, he is highly motivated to provide prompt, efficient, and quality service to Zann’s clientele for the dual purpose of meeting client needs and furthering the expansion of the greater Clear Lake area.
Mr. Kieschnick is a graduate of Baylor University in Waco, Texas where he received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree while majoring in Real Estate. Mr. Kieschnick holds a Texas Real Estate Brokers license.
Ron was a commercial lending officer with Allied Bank and Interfirst Bank for 10 years, prior to beginning his commercial real estate career with the Benton Gould Company in 1986. Ron joined McDade + Company when the company began business in 1992.
In 1995, Ron became the Regional Partner/Texas for RealtiCorp, a national real estate investment fund, where he was responsible for acquisition, development, and sale of commercial land parcels in the State of Texas. He rejoined McDade, Smith, Gould, Johnston, Mason + Company in 2004.
Ron has concentrated in the brokerage and development of land during his real estate career. This has included all types of land uses from retail pads to master planned development properties. He has been involved in the brokerage and/or development of over $250,000,000 of property in the Houston and Dallas/Ft Worth metroplex areas.
Ron has been a board member of a municipal utility district in Harris County for over 13 years. He is currently a member of the board of alderman of the Village of Tiki Island in Galveston County.
Before joining ZANN COMMERCIAL BROKERAGE, Inc., Mr. Kmetz served in the Marines followed by twelve years in various customer service industries, during which he was a manager for several years. Mr. Kmetz was also a residential realtor for six years, specializing in the Greater Clear Lake Area. This variety of professionalism helped strengthen his knowledge of Commercial Real Estate.
Due to his experience and commitment, Mr. Kmetz can be clearly recognized as a leader. His loyalty, work ethics, and strong sense of integrity provide the highest quality of service to our clients. Mr. Kmetz’s personal and work history in the Clear Lake Area helped him become highly successful in Residential Real Estate and has inevitably carried over to Commercial Real Estate. Mr. Kmetz’s emphasis on the client furthers the success of ZANN COMMERCIAL BROKERAGE, Inc. and its Clientele.
Mr. Derham has rejoined Zann Commercial Brokerage, Inc. following a period of semi-retirement in the Texas Hill Country where he had continued his Real Estate career mainly providing property management services.
He worked for Zann from 1994 until 2003 and during that period was one of Zann’s top producers. During his previous tenure he managed several Retail Shopping Centers as well as participating in all commercial real estate brokerage.
Mr. Derham first began his activities in the Industrial and Commercial Real Estate field in 1983, in Bethlehem and Eastern Pennsylvania. He became a licensed broker in 1986 and became qualified and approved for admission into prestigious SIOR in 1991.
He has represented clients not only in the Industrial Market, but also in Office, Retail and Raw land transactions. During the course of his activity in Pennsylvania, he was involved in a combined sales activity of over 6 million square feet of office and industrial space and $50 million in Brokerage sales. Working closely with Industrial Parks, Industrial Development Authorities, Economic Development Authorities and Developers is part of his expertise. Mr. Derham was named Broker of the Year in the Lehigh Valley on two separate occasions by Rouse & Associates, a National Developer.
Graduating from an Officer's Naval College with honors he later became involved in Industrial Plant Management and holds an H.N.C. in Mechanical Engineering from Bolton Institute of Technology in England.
His career has also included several years of Sales Management and Consulting for large corporations in addition to his work in Commercial Real Estate. As Manager of Technical Services for Gulf + Western's Zinc Division, he coordinated the Sales Department activities with the Manufacturing, Marketing, Research and Communications Departments. His knowledge in the corporate structure and decision process is a strong asset in working with current clients in Corporate Real Estate decision analysis.
Sassy Stanton is an affiliate Broker of ZANN COMMERCIAL BROKERAGE, Inc. and specializes in the Ranch and Rural Land function. Sassy had 18 years with Grubb and Ellis and achieved number one status in their national retail division. There she handled acquisition and disposition of national chain store locations as well as major retail and office developments tracts. Previously, she was an officer with banks and has strong familiarity with real estate financing.
Sassy and her husband own and have sold ranches and thoroughly understand the working of the rural governmental and civic approved process. Mineral rights, access, agricultural exemptions, accurate metes and bounds, and water/sewer access are just a few of those criteria both the Seller and Buyer must have for a successful transaction. She will also serve as a consultant to ZANN COMMERCIAL BROKERAGE, Inc. in retail leasing and facility sales.
Mitchell spent three years at Weingarten Realty Investors, responsible for leasing activity
at 17 grocery anchored, power, and lifestyle shopping centers totaling over 2.2 million
SF of lease space in the Austin, Houston, Killeen, and San Antonio, TX markets. He also
spent two years at Reliance Property Resources where he assisted the President with the
purchase and sale of the buildings.
His educational background includes acquiring his Bachelor of Business Administration,
Major in Marketing at Baylor University and completed an intensive conversational
Spanish study at Centro De Estudio Linguisticos in Cuernavaca, Mexico.
He is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers.

Craig Appleby joined Zann with 10 years of commercial real estate experience in the greater Houston area. He also has over 28 years in sales and sales management experience in Fortune 500 companies, specializing in recruiting, hiring, and training. He led a well-known corporation in the highest volume sales and profit for four years consecutively, while producing the largest number of high volume sales people annually. Craig has produced over 25 sales and mid-level managers into successful executives. Collectively, Craig has produced over 800 million in sales, and has managed and trained over 4,400 sales and sales managers in 25 years in both the retail and real estate sectors.
Craig graduated from Texas Tech University and earned a Bachelor of Science in Architecture. He currently is involved in several community activities and little league.
